About the Human Season
From how humans have adapted to every habitat on the planet to survive to how every cell in our bodies have adapted to evolve our anatomy, the Human Season series of programmes explores our development as a species.
With the mapping of the human genome, it poses the question if technology is slowing our evolution or driving it and with cutting-edge genetics developments unlocking the secrets of pleasure and pain, the season looks to the future as well as understanding the 6-million year evolutionary journey.
