From growing up on a farm in Surrey, Steve was always passionate about the great outdoors. Starting out as a travel writer for the Rough Guides on their Indonesian edition, he broke into television by spending a month living in the jungles of Columbia filming snakes, spiders and scorpions. Physically fit, Steve has a black belt in judo and is a keen rock climber and fell runner.

Steve’s television credits include Expedition Borneo, Expedition Alaska, Lost Land of the Jaguar and Lost Land of the Tiger.
