Radiohead: King of Limbs Live

Summary

Radiohead need no introduction. Having sold over 30 million albums worldwide, they are one of the most successful and critically acclaimed acts of their generation. With a reputation for producing consistently brilliant and era defining records, their eighth studio album The King of Limbs is no different.

Released with little fanfare in February 2011 the album received stunning reviews from fans and press alike.

This programme follows the band as they perform The King of Limbs exclusively, for the first and only time for music show From the Basement. The programme also features two tracks entirely exclusive to the show – The Daily Mail and Staircase – as well as a bonus track – Supercollider, which Radiohead have never performed live until now.

A mix of pure music performance and documentary, the programme offers an insight into the band’s dynamic, their interactions and the process behind their live recording performances.

Produced by From the Basement and Radiohead’s producer Nigel Godrich, the show offers the band a relaxed studio environment, letting talent speak for itself, without the interference of presenters, or audiences. It’s like getting your own VIP pass to a private recording session.
